I think strong pure happy thoughts.




Tuning into myself through a high raw diet has switched me on to some of my very nasty negative thought patterns. Time for a turn-around, hence today’s affirmation.


This has been the best affirmation yet. Several people used it and it was powerful for everyone. I derived it from David Wolfe’s “The Sunfood Diet Success System”. This is an inspirational and beautiful book that I highly recommend to anyone attempting a raw food diet or aiming to improve their eating habits.


Wolfe talks about the way our thoughts create our reality. He emphasises the vital necessity of driving out negative thoughts and replacing them with strong, pure, happy thoughts. The way we think attracts what happens in our lives, and of course what we’re thinking is part of who we are. Revisiting negative ideas over and over creates a damaging vibration that will only attract grief and trouble.


My choice to revise this chapter was timely, because I’ve been starkly aware over the last few days of my negative thinking. I was already aware of the harm these thoughts were causing, but I certainly wasn’t blaming myself. I hadn’t made the connection that my negative mind-approach to each situation was contributing strongly to causing problems. I wasn’t taking responsibility for my own mind.


I believe my mind has a powerful effect on my life when it’s positive, so it’s logical that it has an equivalent impact when it’s negative.


I’ve enjoyed using “I think strong pure happy thoughts” today to combat any negative thoughts as they arose. Whenever they popped up, I drove them away with my affirmation, and felt quite pleased.


Day 8 High Raw Food Diet Menu


Breakfast: Leftover tropical smoothie, 1 pear, 1 nectarine and ¼ rockmelon. Coffee with soy milk.

Morning snack: 1 banana.

Lunch: Spirulina crackers with avocado and tomato, 2 yellow nectarines, 1 peach.

Afternoon tea: ½ avocado with balsamic dressing, ½ apple.
Dinner: Broccoli salad; finely chopped broccoli, coriander, lemon juice, Himalayan crystal salt, olive oil, cumin seeds. Chamomile tea.

Attitude: 8/10

Energy: 7/10

Raw calories: 80% of approx. 1500 calories

I have been pretty much very successfully following a raw diet for a week now and I am feeling so fresh and weed sprayer strong. I wonder how I will be feeling in a month from now.
