Green Smoothie Meal

As we all know that whenever you talk of health foods, green vegetable concoctions in the form of salads, soups or green smoothies always stand out have the most remarkable effects.

Green Smoothies are smoothies made with blending of fresh green leaves. The greens are mostly blended with fruits or vegetables which gives it a delicious taste. It is important to blend the greens well if you want to enjoy your drink. This drink is truly a full nutritious meal in itself.

People are well aware that intake of green leaves and vegetables are essential to have a healthy body but many shy away or find excuses if they have to chew the greens. Green Smoothies is a perfect solution for a healthy life as they certainly taste great when made well.


People of all ages can drink green smoothies. Adding green smoothies to your daily routine will surely make a huge difference to your body. I assure you that it is extremely beneficial for your health as it consists of all necessary nutrients which your body needs. It is an excellent source of protein, calcium, iron, vitamins, potassium and good source of fibre. Green smoothies do not have cholesterol, unhealthy fat, oils, artificial flavours or preservatives.

I have been consuming green smoothies for a long time now. Intake of green smoothies is my healthiest habit. Without doubt drinking green smoothies has given a boost to my immune system and energy levels and improved my digestion. I even think green smoothies have improved my eyesight! To top it all, green smoothies have helped me to shed some annoying extra kilos and shape up. The list of benefits goes on and on. Nothing can match up the benefits of a green smoothie.

I would like to share a simple green smoothie recipe with you: 1 small bunch spinach leaves, a few mint leaves, 1 cucumber, 2 carrots, 1 apple, 1 pomegranate and 1 banana. Blend ingredients together. This is my favourite wholesome drink. I am sure you will enjoy as much as I do.
