Get off the sweet stuff!

by Emily
(Melbourne, Australia)

Hi Trina!

Thought I would officially log my challenge!

Counting from the 4th Nov I am not eating any chocolate at all in any shape or form.

I also want to cut back sugar as much as I can as it is my major weakness and replace with fruit.

I'm aiming for 45 min of exercise each day as it helps keep up my energy/mood levels

xoxo

Excellent!
by: Trina (Growing Raw Health)

I felt the same about the few wines I had at Mum and Dad's mid-month - didn't really bother me as long as I continued with my high raw challenge the next day.

I bet your skin is looking great!

Hey Trina,

Going well actually, I had a hot chocolate yesterday but that was it.

I'm not likely to jump back on the chocolate bandwagon on the fourth but when I had the hot chocolate there was no guilt! I could have it objectively and I think that's an achievement!

The strangest secret...
by: Trina (Growing Raw Health)

Hi Em,

I've found that the strangest secret is how powerful these affirmations are for keeping me on track! I loved 'I think pure strong happy thoughts' and 'I nourish my youthful spirit' the best. I will definitely keep on using affirmations after this month's challenge is finished. Let me know if you have come across or made up any more good ones.

You're getting to the end of your 30 days now. How's it going?

Strange affirmation...
by: Anonymous

"The strangest secret in the world is that you become what you think about..."

I think a positive thought has been the best thing to help me avoid chocolate and when I think about what I want to see rather that what I don't already like it makes a difference.

No chocolate in any shape or form!

It has been easier to avoid due to hot weather and been having frozen yoghurt with fruit to satisfy!

xoxo
Em

PS I feel great!

Only had the one fall back so far as far a chocolate goes where I ate a block I had spare in my drawer. With the hot weather I'm not missing it too much, which is good. Also knowing that I can't have it is stopping me from buying it which is a big part!
Exercising every day is harder though but try to do it most mornings.
Pretty happy with myself so far!

Back on the horse..
by: Trina (Growing Raw Health)

Em, I know you are being very strong... even when you 'lapsed' for a day you started fresh the next day instead of giving up. Maybe you could create yourself an affirmation for every time you're tempted by chocolate?

User Reviews of
Starwest Botanicals

My selection of herbs and spices were delivered quickly and were of the best quality I have seen. Great service, fantastic products. Fresh organic herbs from a supplier I trust. - Susan S.

Overall, it was a very positive experience.... they treated me in an exemplary manner when I first ordered from them. I got exactly the product I needed/ordered/expected vis-a-vis the sprouting wheatgrass seeds. I would certainly order from them again for anything that specific. - geo442
